Obituary for Alba R. Lovullo
Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Alba Rose Lovullo, 96 of Nutley, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on February 5, 2019.
Alba was born in Belleville, married in 1948, and moved to Nutley in 1956. A great woman who will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her son, Michael J. Lovullo, daughter, Janice Lovullo-Marchak; sister Virginia Torlucci; grandchildren Nicole Lovullo, Michael J. Lovullo, Jr., Austin Michael Marchak; and great grandsons Noah Lovullo and Gabriel Lovullo.
Alba was predeceased by her 9 brothers and her husband Michael A. Lovullo, a former employee of the Newark Post Office. They were happily married for 59 years prior to his passing in 2007. Alba was a member of the Belleville Senior Citizens Club.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, (https://www.cancer.org/) would be appreciated.
