Obituary for Albert R. Tulp
Albert R. Tulp, 90, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday September 21, 2022. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Harry and Gertrude (Mayer) Tulp. Albert lived in Stockholm, NJ, prior to coming to Nutley and was a machinist with Westinghouse in Bloomfield, before retiring. Albert was also a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving for 35 years before being honorably discharged in 1992.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria E. (Ippisch) Tulp, his son A. Richard Tulp (Karla) and daughter Heidi Nolan. He also leaves his grandchildren, Dakota and James Brower, Brandyn, Evan and Nicholas Tulp and a great grandchild. Albert was the dear brother of Orien and the late Harry, Jack and his twin brother Allen.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be conducted at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Bloomfield Animal Shelter are appreciated.
