Obituary for Albert V. Vollero

Albert Vincent Vollero, 89, of Aberdeen, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 11, 2023. Born on August 4, 1933, in Newark, NJ, Albert was the son of the late Vincenzo and Anna (LaMandri) Vollero. He retired to Bonita Springs, Fl, for several years and lived in Vineland for the past 10 years. A proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, Albert served during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Labor Organizer for Local 6 Hotel Motel Trading Council – NYC. Albert enjoyed cooking and was the author of his own cookbook. He loved going to Atlantic City and playing Blackjack. He was a master winemaker, using his father’s recipe. Nothing made Albert happier than playing the guitar and entertaining his family and friends. Albert is survived by his daughter Donna Paone and her husband Thomas, son Vincenzo Vollero and his wife Marcia Vollero, grandchildren Jack Vollero, Natalie Paone, Gianna Vollero, sister Anna D’Ambola, brother Jerry Vollero, his companion Carmella Langley and best girl Mitzi, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters Carmella Quarno, Flora Scucci, Catherine (Kitty) LaMandri, Rose Ciancitto, Concetta Icona, and brothers Saverio (Sam) Icona and Tony Icona.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. Funeral Service will be at 3pm.
