Loving Brother, Father and Grandfather

Alessandro Zoino, 83 of formerly of Newark passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019. Born in Avellino, Italy to Giovanni and Maria (Lepore) Zoino, he lived in Italy before moving to Newark for 50 years ago. Prior to his retirement Alessandro was a forklift operator at Peerless Tube in Bloomfield and he was a tailor in Italy.
He is survived by his beloved children Giovanni Zoino and Carmelina Callazos, his caring grandchildren, John, Matthew and Isabella, his brothers, Umberto, Mario and Nino Zoino and his sisters Carmela De Leone and Assunta Lepore. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers Antonio and Ugo Zoino.

The funeral will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church in Newark.

The entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
