Alex Hall Jr., age 81 of Cedar Grove, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Born in Galveston, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Dora (Atkins) and Alex Hall. He retired as a Chemical Operator for Hoffman La Roche, Nutley. Alex was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Amvets Post #30 of Nutley, and Roche Retirees. He is survived by his in-laws, Raymond Boxer, Janet Woodward, Robert Boxer, Gail Brown, Richard Boxer & David Boxer; his sister, Asia; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Joan (Boxer) Hall and his brother Cecil Hall.


The funeral service will be 10:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday 5-8pm.
