Amelia Estenes- O’Dell

Devoted wife, loving godmother, grandmother & aunt

Amelia Estenes-O’Dell of Pequannock Township, passed away on Friday June 11, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Amelia (Young) Roach. Amelia lived in Nutley most of her life and was employed as manager of budget and finance in the Learning and Education Department at Coopers & Lybrand in Parsippany, NJ. She was highly active in Holy Family Church; she was a member and former president of the Rosary Alter Society, a former eucharistic minister, a member of the Sassy Seniors and former member of Adult Education. She was also a former member of the Nutley AARP and Kaylin Dance Group in Little Falls, NJ. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, the late Albert Estenes, and the late Daniel O’Dell. She was also predeceased by her godson, whom she raised, the late Thomas W. Roach and his daughter Erin Elizabeth Roach. She is survived by her “granddaughter” Tara Lynne Olsen (Roach), her husband Justin, and their children Xavier, Cassidy, Ethan and Piper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday June 15 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley on Wednesday at 10:30 am followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.
