Angela was known for her quick wit, devotion to her family and friends, and unyielding love as a wife, mother, Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-Law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Godmother. Before meeting the love of her life and future husband, Frank Cozzarelli, Jr., she graduated from Belleville High School and the IBM school where she was trained as a computer operator. She excelled in her job at Bell Telephone but left to pursue her full-time work as the matriarch of her family. Her beloved husband Frank predeceased her on July 28, 2017. They were married 66 years at the time of his death.

Angela unabashedly declared her greatest accomplishment was raising her six children. She is survived by her children and their spouses and significant partners, Frank, and wife Karen (nee Caputo), Robert and wife Susan (nee Maniscalco), Carol and husband John Franklin, John Cozzarelli, and his partner, Antionette Sosnowski, Joseph and wife Paula (nee Pirozzi), Linda and husband, Robert Dalla Riva. Along with her children, Angela took great pride in every one of her 15 of her grandchildren and their spouses, Frank P. and his wife Malarie, Stephen and his wife, Kristin, Robert Jr. and his wife, Jenna, Rebecca and her fiancé Dan Cocco, John Paul, Alexa, Christopher, Nicholas, Danielle, John Anthony, Natalie, Victoria, Thomas, Marc, and Emily. She was blessed with two great grandchildren. Angela is survived by her sister Mary Ann Carissimo and her sister-in-law Geraldine Carissimo. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary (nee De Nicholas) and her father, Domenico, her brother, Raymond and his wife Susan, her brother Peter, and her sister Rita. She was blessed with twenty-three nieces and nephews and many, many great nieces and nephews and had a special relationship with them all.
She will be sorely missed by all. Her children often recount that she was quick to remind them “You only get one mother.” Her dedication to her family was beyond compare. She touched the lives of all with whom she connected and was loving, caring and fun-loving. She befriended all who she came in touch with offering advice, encouragement, and pragmatic guidance.
