Obituary for Angela Mattia (Kinzer)

Angela Mattia, 57, of Nutley, passed away on October 4, 2022. Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville and Verona prior to moving to Nutley three years ago. Angela was an administrative coordinator for the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Angela had a love for animals, especially her rescue cat, Sherbert and her Wheaton Terrier Teddy who both were waiting for her with tails wagging. She also adored her family and friends. Angela was great at telling stories, she always kept the conversation going and had a love for music.
Angela is survived by her husband Steven, her son Louis and daughter Gianna, father-in-law Louis, mother Rose, brothers Mario Rouette and Gerard Chimento, sisters Linda Eli and Michelle Rouette, brothers-in-law Chris Eli and Thomas Resciniti, sister-in-law Lisa Resciniti and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Russomanno and son Anthony.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (http://www.swbrownandson.com ), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, NJ on Saturday at 10:30am.

Cremation will be private.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday October 7, 2022, from 4-8pm.
