Obituary for Angelica Ferraiolo (Napoliello)

Angelica (Napoliello) Ferraiolo, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020. On this day, she was reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, Louis.
Angelica was born in Calabritto, Italy. She emigrated to the United States via Ellis Island in 1956 at the age of 18 with her father Luigi Napoliello and settled in the Silver Lake section of Belleville, New Jersey. In 1958, Angelica’s mother, Maria, and her brothers, Aldo and Alfonso, also emigrated to America to join the rest of the family. While living in Belleville, Angelica met the love of her life, her late husband Louis. The two moved to Nutley in 1970, where she raised her family and spent the rest of her life.
She was a kind-hearted, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved celebrating her Italian-American roots and became a member of The Federation of Italian American Societies of New Jersey. She also was an active parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Nutley.
Angelica was devoted to her family and treasured her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Angelica is survived by her daughter Jo Ann, her son-in-law Nat, their children Christopher and Adrianna. Her son Anthony and daughter-in-law Carmela, their children Toni Ann and her husband Jerry, Christina, and Nicole and her great-granddaughter Charlotte. Angelica is also survived by her brother, Aldo and her care-taker, Pacencia Manaloto.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date to celebrate Angelica’s life.
Arrangements will be through the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Nutley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angelica’s name to the following organizations: Nutley Volunteer Emergency & Rescue Squad or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
