Obituary for Angeline M. De Lorenzo (Spino)

Angeline M. DeLorenzo, 98, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born in Virginia and raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she moved to NJ in her teens and lived in Nutley and then Bloomfield for many years. Before her retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant at Hoffman-La Roche. Angie enjoyed spending time with her family, and holidays were particularly special. She always had a delicious meal at the ready; chicken soup, manicotti, and pastina were favorites. Countless hours of conversation and laughter were shared at her kitchen table. She is loved and will be missed greatly.

She is predeceased by her husband, Alexander DeLorenzo, her parents, Domenic and Minnie (Matthews) Spino, her sisters, Ethel Carvalho and Celia Mangano, and her brother Anthony Spino. She is survived by her children: Alexander (Br. Eugenio) DeLorenzo, Richard DeLorenzo and his wife Janice, Joan Bivona and her husband Lou, and Dennis DeLorenzo and his wife Shelley, and by her sister, Margaret Lang. She also is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Mark DeLorenzo, his wife Teresa, and their children Natalie, Alyssa, and Kevin; Dana (BIvona) Zipkin, her husband Mark, and their children Alyx, Leah, and Noah; Jaimie (Bivona) Genovesi, her husband John, and their children Gianluca and Jackson; Corryn DeLorenzo, her husband Eric Crum, and their children Ryan and Julia; Robin DeLorenzo and her fiancé Tom Lezak; Chris DeLorenzo, his wife Danielle, and their son Luke; Cassie DeLorenzo and her partner Joseph Esposito.

Private funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. A memorial mass will be announced in the future.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to either the Alzheimer’s Association (http://alz.org) or the National Council on Aging (https://www.ncoa.org/get-involved/give/donate-online/) would be sincerely appreciated.
