Angelo C. Gingerelli, 88 of Nutley, passed away on Friday March 13, 2020. He was the son of the late Pasquale and Mary (Perri) Gingerelli and lived most of his life in Nutley. Mr. Gingerelli was a Chemical Operator with Hoffmann LaRoche in Nutley before retiring and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. While at Hoffmann LaRoche, Angelo was a member of the Softball Team and the Golf and Bowling Leagues. He was previously employed at Federal Leather, the Herald News and was the owner of The Wine Cellar in Elizabeth. He later was a member of the Roche Retirees Association and also enjoyed singing. Angelo is survived by his former wife, Josephine (DeSerio), his children, Patrick Gingerelli and wife, Donna, JoAnn Tanis and husband, Donald, and Richard Gingerelli. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle Dean and husband, Matt, Brittany Tanis, Daniel and Kara Gingerelli. He was the dear brother of the late Thomas and Joseph Gingerelli.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday March 16 at 9:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 am followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 PM.
