Obituary for Angelo Veneroso
Angelo Veneroso, age 90, of Surprise AZ passed away on January 15, 2019.
He was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Angelo was in the NJ National Guard for 9 years. He was married to his high school sweetheart Ann for 36 years, living in Bloomfield and Nutley, NJ until her passing in 1985.
Angelo operated a successful food market which later became Angelo and Ann’s Frozen Foods. Their many Italian entrees became popular sellers in predominant supermarkets in NJ, NY and CT. He retired from the business in 1994, moving to Newton, NJ where he lived for 17 years. In 2012 he moved to Surprise, AZ to live with his son Neil and daughter in law Carol.
Angelo is predeceased by his wife Ann and sister Mildred. Surviving is his sister Virginia Kristy, his children Thomas Veneroso and wife Mary, Carol Ruggiero and husband Robert, Lisa Dubs and husband Randy, Neil Veneroso and wife Carol. Grandchildren Tina Janevski and husband Dennis, Vicky Antunes and husband Jose, Lisa Marie Ruggiero, Nicholas Veneroso. Great Grandchildren Daniel, Christopher and Anna Janevski and many dear nieces, nephews and close friends. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
Wake and memorial services to be held at S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St, Nutley, NJ on Sunday, February 10th from 2-6pm.
Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Ave, Bloomfield, NJ on February 11th at 10:30 AM.
