Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother
Ann Polizzi, 94 of Forked River passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. Born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Domenico and Teresa (Di Donna) Clemente, she lived in Nutley the majority of her life before moving to Forked River 8 years ago. Ann was a former Riveter during World War II.
Ann is survived by her loving daughters Catherine Sutphen and husband Dennis and Virginia Serino and husband Henry, her sister Rose Ippolito, her brother John Clemente and her grandchildren Michelle and Paul Serino.
Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Polizzi, her brothers Dominick, Joseph, Tony and Frankie Clemente and her sister Esther Strecker.
The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
