Obituary for Ann Triano

Ann Triano, 92 of Fairfield passed away on Saturday October 15, 2022. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Caputo) Cavalla. Ann lived in Bloomfield and Belleville and also Cape Coral, FL and Whiting before coming to Fairfield 2 years ago. Before retiring, Mrs. Triano was a librarian at the Bloomfield Public Library. She was a devoted wife and mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick M. Triano and her daughter, Kathleen Puorro. Surviving are her children, Frederick M. “Rick” Triano, Jr. and his wife, Paula, Lauren Maletich and her husband, Gregg, Marjorie Jones and her husband, Billy and her son-in-law, Tom Puorro. She also leaves her grandchildren, Erica Santalla and husband, John, Frederick “Rick” Triano and wife, Dana, Stacey Almeida and husband, Phil, Megan Louro and husband, Colin, Kristiann Mecca and husband, Michael, Alyssa Puorro, DC, step-grandchildren, Kristen Gonzalez and husband, Brian and Daniel Jones, and great grandchildren, Grayson, Preston, Michael, Dillon, Sammy, Chase, Leo, Abbey, Maisie and Vincent. Ann was the dear sister of the late Gloria Bencivenne.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield at 10 am followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday October 19 from 4-7 pm.
