Anna J. Groome, (nee Bordonaro), 93 of Belleville, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Elizabetta (Minardi) Bordonaro. A devoted wife and loving mother, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry J. Groome and son Harold Groome. She is survived by her loving children, Alanna Haley and her husband, Robert Jr., Linda Hinton and her husband, Gary, her 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Anna was also the dear sister of the late Rose Spera, Madeline Dalbon, Peter Bordonaro, James Bordonaro, Michael Bordonaro, John Bordonaro, Ignazio Paul Bordonaro and Frances Clayton.

Services for Anna will be private. A Funeral Mass at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville will be planned at a later date.
