Anna Sacchiero, age 100 of Belleville, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. Born in Belleville, the daughter of Paul and Constance (Garruto) Martino, she has lived in Belleville for over 50 years.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at Executive Coffee Co. in Belleville.
The beloved wife of the late Louis Sacchiero, she is survived by her children, Marianne Mauro & her husband Vincent, Louis Sacchiero & his wife Patricia, and Robert Sacchiero; her brother Paul Martino; her sister-in-law, Josephine Martino; her grandchildren, Vincent Mauro Jr., Dean Mauro & his fiancée Julie, Cosmo Stephen Mauro & his fiancée Rachel, and Louis Sacchiero; her great great-grandchildren, Danielle Sacchiero and Mila Mauro; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be on Friday at 9am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral mass will be at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville at 10am.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org/donate) would be appreciated.
