Dearest Husband & Father
Anthony Salernitano, of Toms River, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017. Born in Newark, the son of the late Antonio & Emilia (Giusta) Salernitano, he lived in Belleville prior to moving to Toms River 19 years ago.
He retired as a brick layer from the Heavy & General Laborers’ Union Local 472 in Newark. Previously, he worked as a staff worker with motion picture studios in California for 10 years.
Anthony will forever be remembered for taking care of everyone and being a hard worker.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Gloria (Kolodji) Salernitano; his children, Santy and Tony Salernitano, Linda Salernitano (Daughter in Law) and his grandson Anthony.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 155 William Street in Belleville on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery immediately following the mass.
Visitors will be received at S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley in Wednesday morning from 8:30a.m. until mass time.
