Anthony D. Sessa, Sr., 89 of Belleville, passed away on Monday June 10, 2019. Born and raised in Newark, he came to Belleville in 1976. Mr. Sessa was an import and export traffic manager with Wilson Shipping Lines in Jersey City before retiring and was a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather. He was the son of the late Alfonso and Rosmunda (Salerno) Sessa. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Luisa (Prisco) Sessa, his children, Alphonse Sessa, Maria Nardone and Anthony Sessa, Jr., his grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, Anthony J. and Adrianna and his great granddaughter, Lyla.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Friday June 14 at 9 am.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley at 10 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
