Armando Garcia Roque, 88 of Nutley, passed away on Friday October 16, 2020 at his home. Born in Honduras, he was the son of the late Samuel and Eugienia (Roque) Garcia. Mr. Garcia Roque earned his doctoral degree from the University of Honduras and was a microbiologist at Jersey City Medical Center before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Rosinda, his children, Oscar Garcia, Eduardo Garcia, Dora Hernandez, Maria Reyes, Ana Javan and Carlos Garcia. He also leaves 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and was predeceased by his sons, Manuel and Javier Garcia.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:30 am.

Cremation will be private.

Visiting will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4-6 pm.
