Attilio Santimone, of Rutherford, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Mary (Villaggio) & Vincent J. Santimone, he grew up in Newark then he lived in Rutherford for over 40 years.
Before his retirement, Attilio worked as a butcher for R. Violante & Son’s Meat Market in Belleville.
The beloved husband of the late Frances (Savasta) Santimone, he is survived by his sister Rae Immerso and a brother, Vincent. He was also predeceased by his brother, Joseph.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday from 9-10:15 a.m.
There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
