Audrey Baker, 89 of Nutley, passed on Sunday April 26,2020. Matriarch, Hero, The General. She was often referred to as a Saint on Earth. She was beloved and admired for her unwavering devotion to family and friends. She worked at the Branch Manor for many years and everyone there was family to her. She will be sorely missed. Born in Newark to the late William A Ginda and Geraldine Ginda. She moved to Nutley to raise her family. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Baker, daughter Patricia Lynn Baker, sons Ken and John and her sister Geraldine. She is survived by her children, Susanne Casale, William A. Baker and wife Audrey, Ginger Scholer and husband Rich, Kim Baker and Lisa Spaner. Her loving grandchildren, Nikki Piro, Adrienne Dubinin and husband Ryan, Dr. Anthony J. Scholer and his fiancé Sara Evangelista, Jillian Baker, David Spaner, Meghan Polt and her husband Brian, Dr William F Baker, Ben Spaner and his wife Apple, Deena Koska, Ryan and Lauren Dubinin and her great granddaughter Olivia Madison Dubinin.
She is also survived by her sisters Betty Williams, June Chapman and many nieces and nephews.
Services are private.
Memorial will he planned at a later date.
