Obituary for Barbara Donaleski (Connolly)

Barbara Donaleski 89 passed away on April 13th with her daughters Kathy Kritsky and Karen Risoli by her side. Born in Newark, she was a Belleville resident for many years before moving to Toms River in 1999.
Barbara worked several secretarial jobs before working in Credit and Collections at Franklin Plastics where she retired in 1995
Barbara was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt and a friend. She enjoyed old movies, going to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She was an avid supporter of St Jude’s Children’s hospital and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Bill and Ethel Connolly, her loving husband Eddie Donaleski, her brother Eddie Connolly and her nephew Danny Caruso.
Barbara is survived by her brother Charlie (Chuck) Connolly and his wife Ann, her sister Patsy, Brother-in-Law Raymond Caruso, her Son in law Jim Risoli, niece Catherine Connolly and nephews Michael Caruso and Billy Connolly and her daughters Kathy Kritsky and Karen Risoli (Salerno).
Helen Keller wrote, the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or ever touched, they must be felt with the heart. Barbara had a loving heart and great beauty, we will miss her smile and laughter but know she is in a much better place….

The funeral will be at 9:30am, on Tuesday, April 19, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30am.

The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 18, 2022 form 4-8pm.
