Barbara S. Weischedel, 84 of Newark passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late James and Mercedes (Rauch) Swan, she lived in Nutley before moving to Newark 10 years ago. Barbara was a former production worker at Glaxosmithkline in New Jersey.
The beloved wife of the late William R. Weischedel, she is survived by her children, Brian and Eric Weischedel, and Carrie Meola, her brother James Swan, and 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
