Benita Freitas, 89, a lifelong resident of Newark, passed away on Monday March 29, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Benito and Mary (Guior) Goitiandia. A devoted wife, loving mother and dear sister, Benita was predeceased by the husband, Jose' Antonio Freitas, her sons, Antonio and Jack Freitas, her brothers, Peter and Jack Goitiandia and her sister, Lena Monteiro. She leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 1, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside, NJ at 11:30 am.
