Devoted & Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Bombina “Bonnie” Spina, of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Born in Italy, the daughter of the late Anna (Algieri) & Antonio De Franco, Bonnie lived most of her life in Nutley. She retired as an electronics Technician from Spencer Industries in Belleville.
The beloved wife of the late Giorgio Spina, she is survived by her daughters, Anna Marie Modica & Teresa Tantillo and her son Giorgio Spina; nine grandchildren, Tracy, Anisa, Kristen & Giorgio Spina, Danielle & Jonathan Sasso, Giavanna Modica, and Alyssa & Ashley Tantillo and three great-grandchildren, Marvin Jr., Jaden & Jordan. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Feragasso, Teresa Falduto, Alice Marie Spina & Judy Campione. Bonnie was predeceased by her brothers, Gennaro & Guiseppe De Franco.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m.
