Obituary for Carl R. Gardner
Carl R. Gardner, 80 of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Born in Passaic, Carl was a longtime resident of Nutley and was the son of the late Carl J. and Lillian (Mc Conchie) Gardner. He retired as an accountant for Hoffman LaRoche.
Carl was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a member of the Nutley Third Half Club and board member of Proponent Credit Union. He is survived by his beloved companion of 40 years, Mary Von Hoene; and his sister, Gail Magliaro.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street Nutley on Monday, June 22nd from 9:30 -10:30am followed by the burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. The funeral service will be at 11am at the cemetery.
