Carlos Martinez,Jr., 63, of Belleville, passed away on December 23, 2023. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he resided in Camden and Newark prior to settling in Belleville in 1999. Carlos is the son of the late Calixto Martinez, Candida Gonzalez and Zoraida Vera. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor with National Chuck residences in Elizabeth. He enjoyed drawing, fishing, and working with wood. He was a Carpenter by trade. He is survived by his children Lillian Mejia, Candida Castrillo, Carlos A, Martinez, Jasmine Martinez, and Daniel Martinez. eleven brothers and sisters, and his grandchildren Stephen, Gilbert, Alyssa, and Elijah.
The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 10-12pm. Funeral service will be conducted at noon.
Cremation will be private.
