Carmen R. Vellon, 55
Carmen R. Vellon, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Born in Hoboken, the daughter of Bertha (De Cal) and the late Renato Francisco, MD, she moved to Belleville 22 years ago.
Carmen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from and a Master’s Degree in Literature from Seton Hall University.
The beloved wife of the late Rafael Vellon, she is survived by her children, Mia Rose and Rafael Benito Vellon; her sisters, Vivian Villa, Aivy Ariza and Roselena Martinez and her brothers, Renato, Carlos and Giovanni Martinez. She was also predeceased by her brother, Luis Jimenez.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
The interment will be held at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue in Bloomfield at 11 a.m.
