Belleville Firefighter
Carmine C. Castellano, of Belleville, passed away on Friday March 16, 2018. Born in Belleville, he was the son of the late Mary (Lilore) and Gerard Castellano. Mr. Castellano retired as a firefighter for his home town and was a member of Belleville FMBA Local #29 . He also was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. In England, he participated in the D-Day invasion.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary L. (D’Agostino) Castellano and brother Ralph Castellano, and is survived by his beloved children; Mariann Moran and her husband David, and Gerald J. Castellano and his wife Angela L, his grandchildren; John C. and his wife Melissa, Matthew M. Porcelli and his wife Heather, and his great-grandchildren; Addison, Natalie, Andrew, and Luke.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday, March 26th at 9:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley, at 10:30 am followed by internment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
