Obituary for Carmine S. Ucci

Proud World War II Veteran
Carmine S. Ucci, of Nutley, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Fanny & Louis Ucci, he lived in Newark prior to moving to Nutley 53 years ago.
Carmine retired as a Tool & Die Maker from Electro Scan Inc. in Garfield. He was a proud Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post #70, the Old Guard of Nutley, Nutley Elks Lodge #1290 and the Nutley Family Service Bureau.
The beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Ameo) Ucci, he is survived by his sons, Louis & his wife, Karen, Steven & his fiancée, Nancy Wills and Thomas & his wife, Maureen; 3 grandchildren, Carolyn, Alex & Jason & his wife, Amanda; and 2 great-grandchildren, Harrison & Charlotte. He is also survived by his twin sister, Anne DiModica & her husband, Peter and his sister, Eleanor Gennario.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3-8 p.m.
