Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother

Carol Ann L. Vitaletti, 72 of Clifton, passed away on Friday August 31, 2018. Born in Newark, she lived most of her life in Bloomfield, before moving to Clifton. She retired as a manager at Caldwell College bookstore. Carol was the daughter of the late Carolyn (Marturano) & Henry Amato; and was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence A. “Sonny” Vitaletti, Jr. She is survived by her son, Christopher Vitaletti & his wife Denise; and her daughter, LoriAnn Cassie & her husband Anthony; a brother, Vincent Amato & his wife Grace; her brother-in-law, Dr. Gary B. Vitaletti & his wife Meryl; her grandchildren, Anthony Lawrence & Amanda; and great-grandchild, Peyton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.


The funeral will be Tuesday 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The Funeral mass will be at Holy Family Church at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday 4-8pm
