Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Carol J. (Marrone) Bell, 83, of Roxbury, NJ, passed away on January 18, 2023. Born in Bloomfield, NJ on April 15, 1939, to Sylvia and Frank Marrone. Carol met her husband, Lawrence Bell, and were married for 60 years, living, and raising their three children in Nutley. Carol owned operated Salon 188 in Nutley for 15 years. In addition to being a business owner, Carol was a devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was always ready to go above and beyond for her family. She enjoyed baking her Italian cookies and hosting Sunday dinners with mandatory macaroni and gravy (not sauce) for her family and friends. Carol is survived by her loving caregiver daughter Sandra Slater, son in law Paul, Son Lawrence Bell, along with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lawrence (2014), son Robert Bell (2018) and her brother John Marrone (1988). Carol will be greatly missed by all of us.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 10:30am-12:30pm. A Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00noon.
The interment will be private at Glendale Cemetery.
