Obituary for Carole A. Lardier

In loving memory of:
Carole Ann Lardier

August 27, 1944 - March 5, 2023

Carole Ann Lardier, 78, lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bath, England and raised in Nutley, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Amuel E. Lardier and Rita (Thomas) Lardier.

Carole Lardier attended Holy Family School and graduated from Nutley High School in 1964.
She was an avid golfer and was the proud winner of the Louis Viola Trophy and the Women’s Trophy in the Nutley Golf Tournament for many consecutive years. She loved to cook and garden, and she was a huge New York Yankees fan. Carole graduated from The Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York City in 1966. She worked in the fashion industry until starting a family. While raising her two children, she worked for many years at her father’s pharmacy - Lardier’s Pharmacy in Nutley. More recently, she worked for Centre Ridge Garden Center in Nutley. To her this wasn’t just a job, it was her passion. Centre Ridge Garden Center was her home away from home. More than anything, Carole loved and adored her family.

She will be dearly missed by her son Richard Rusignuolo and his wife Lorena, her daughter, Nicole Pacchini and her husband Samuele, her four grandsons, Nicholas and Luca Rusignuolo and Christopher and Michael DeHaas, her brother David Lardier and his wife Donna, her sister Beth Guerino and her husband Joseph. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she held so dearly. She was predeceased by her sister Toni Lardier.

The funeral will be on Thursday, March 9. 2023 at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave, Nutley at 10:30am.

The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023,
from 4-8pm.
