Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Sister In-law, Mother In-law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Friend and Neighbor
On July 27, 2023 Carole Grace Riordan a lifelong resident of Belleville, NJ went to her eternal reward peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Carole was born on April 3,1940 to the late Howard and Anna Barnett and was the 9th of 10 children. She was a woman of devout Christian faith who loved her extended Church Family and for many years participated in numerous women's Bible studies and book clubs. Above all Carole cherished spending time with her family, traveling, attending Barnett Family Christmas parties and "Snowbirding" in Sarasota, FL for 18 winters with her loving husband.
She is predeceased by her aforementioned parents, sisters Marion Barnett, Dorothea Schott, Ann Senatore, Jane Chamberlain, Mary Westpy, Gloria Dente, Lorraine Bartell and brother Howard Barnett.
Carole is survived by her husband of 61 years Daniel F. Riordan, sons Sean P. Riordan and wife Maria, Daniel F. Riordan III and wife Jennifer, Brian P. Riordan and Staci Graber, daughter Kimberly A. Riordan, sister Alice Maguire of Toms River, NJ, 5 grandchildren Rebecca, Rachel, Reese, Peyton, Janine and her husband Saagar, 3 great grandsons Jaiden, Deven, Owen, sister in-law Kathleen Monch of New Braunfels,TX as wells as dozens of nieces and nephews.
The Riordan Family extends the deepest of gratitude to the Hospice Team of Albert, Jaimie, Rose and Julie who cared for Carole as if she was a member of their family, they were truly a Blessing.
A private family burial will be held.
