Carolyn “Cookie” Pych, 60 of Belleville, passed away Saturday June 6, 2020 at Hackensack University Medical Center. The daughter of Joan (Harmon) and the late Edward Pych, Carolyn lived most of her life in Nutley and resided in Belleville for the last 20 years. She worked at Vac-u-max in Belleville and at Metlife Stadium for Guest Services, previously worked at Roseanne’s Sweet Shop in Nutley. She was a former coach for the Nutley National Little League. Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, Steven H. Koole; her sisters, Joanne Goscinski and her husband John, MaryAnn Cassese and her husband Joseph; a brother, Edward Pych; her nieces and nephews, MaryJo Reda and her husband Nicholas, Jessica Costa and her husband Jimmy, Jacquelyn Canova and her husband John, Kristin Cassese and Francisco, Joseph Cassese and his wife Stacy, Amanda Goscinski and David, and Michael Cassese and his wife Samantha; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiez, Estella, Jonalyn, C. J., Juliana, Jovanna, Joey, Nova, Dean, Gianella, Mason, and Naya; and her canine babies, Mister K.P and Daisy Rainbow; and also her many loving Godchildren.
The funeral service and interment at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City for Carolyn will be held privately.
