Catherine Louise LoPiccolo, 71 of Newark, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2020. Born in Teaneck, Catherine lived in the Ironbound section of Newark and in Kearny before returning to Newark 12 years ago. Mrs. LoPiccolo was a secretary at Essex County Community College in Newark before retiring. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and sister. She was an avid reader and loved listing to music, especially Karen Carpenter and was known by all as a loving and pure hearted person. She was devout Catholic, attending Mass faithfully and studying scripture.
Catherine was the daughter of the late, John Francis Twomey and Adele Catherine (Trotta) Twomey and beloved wife of the late Robert LoPiccolo. She is survived by her sons, Christopher John Twomey and Robert Anthony LoPiccolo, Jr. and her grandchildren, Christopher John Twomey, Jr., Kayla Twomey, Kyle Twomey and Aidan Twomey. She was also the dear sister of John, Daniel and Timothy Twomey, Barbara Twomey and the late Michael Twomey.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Center St. Nutley on Monday October 26 at 9:45 am.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Bogota at 11 am followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday October 25 from 4-7 pm.
