Catherine Protomastro of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday September 17, 2017. Born and raised in Jersey City, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Grace (Mancuso) Abicca. Mrs. Protomastro had lived in North Arlington before coming to Bloomfield in 2005. Catherine is survived by her beloved husband, Nicholas and her son David Protomastro and his wife, Sabrina. She also leaves her brothers, Raymond, Anthony “Sonny”, and Charles Abicca and her sisters, Frances D’Ambrosio, Sarah Triano and Roseann Anazuski.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Friday September 22 at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield at 10 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
