Loving Wife, Sister, and Aunt
Charlotte Cafone, 99, of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Born in Belleville, NJ, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Anthony and Assunta (Jannarone) Trignano. She retired as a deputy chief clerk from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark, NJ. She was a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Church and member of the Kiwians Club – Nutley. The beloved wife of the late George Cafone, Charlotte is survived by her sister Veronica (Ronnie) DeLorenzo, and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews, Rebel and the rest of her K9 nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Anthony Trignano and sisters Edith Jenkins, Phyllis Mirro, and Jeanne Cleffi.
Masks must be worn for any of the services and are mandated by the family.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Monday, February 27th at 8:30am.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, February 26th from 2 – 6pm.
Charlotte’s family will host a celebration of her life at a later date (TBA).
