Chiara Scuello (Palazzese) of Colonia, NJ born on February 13, 1946, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2022. Chiara was born in Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy to the late Marcella (Marcellusi) and Italo Palazzese. She lived in Queens before coming to Colonia eight years ago. Chiara was the Deputy Director of Licensing at the Administration for Children’s Services of the City of New York until her retirement over 10 years ago. Chiara was predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by her children Aileen Del Pozo and her husband Gilberto, John and his wife Vina, Michael and his wife Ann Marie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Daniel, Massimo, Samantha, Gregory, Andrew, and John (Jack).

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 11am – 1pm. The Funeral service will be at 11am. Cremation is private.
