Columbia Marie Taddeo, 94, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at her home. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late James and Louisa (Grasso) Taddeo, she was a lifelong resident of Newark.
She retired as an assistant manager from the Prudential Insurance Company of America in Newark.
Columbia was the sister of the late Angelica Castellano and her husband, Myron “Dink” Castellano and the aunt of Anne L. Murdock and her husband, the late Reggie Murdock, Robert Castellano and his wife, Elaine Cordasco and the late Douglas Castellano.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Newark at 11 a.m.
The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
