Concetta Sorce
June 10,1941 - January 19, 2021
Concetta Sorce known as Connie or "Chetty" to all her friends and family passed away peacefully on January 19th at Morristown Memorial Hospital at the age of 79. Concetta was born in Newark , and lived in Glen Ridge and Bloomfield before moving to East Hanover in 1993. Concetta is the daughter of the late Anthony Sorce Sr and Anna nee Bartolone. Chetty worked in Newark for McCarter & English for 30 years before her retirement in 2008.
Chetty is survived by her brother Salvatore Sorce and his wife Joan, her brother Joseph Sorce Sr and his wife Ida, and her sister-in-law Marie Sorce. She is predeceased by her brother Anthony Sorce Jr and sister Nina Castellano.
Concetta is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews including Tony Sorce, Vincent Sorce, Steven Sorce, Joanne Sorce, Joseph Sorce, Anthony Sorce III, Salvatore Sorce, and Joseph Sorce Jr.
