Obituary for Connie De Feo

Connie De Feo, 95, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021, at her granddaughter’s home surrounded by family. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Nutley. Connie was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Lena (Di Chiara) Orsini. Connie was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family. She was a former member of the Saint Lucy Filippini Sodality, Holy Family Rosary Altar Society and The Nutley Senior Club,

Connie was predeceased by her loving husband Victor De Feo. She is survived by her children Deborah Morris, Ralph De Feo and his wife Barbara, Marc De Feo and his wife Janine, five grandchildren: Christian De Feo, Scarlett Morris and her husband Sean, Lauren Marks and her husband Ben, Victor De Feo, and Marc De Feo Jr. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren: Anthony De Feo, Gianna De Feo, Logan Marks, Wyatt Marks, and Mazz Morris.

Connie loved cooking her famous specialties - manicotti and Italian potato salad for Sunday dinners with family. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed getting dressed up to go to her clubs, shopping, church, and meet with her friends. She bragged with excitement about winning $5 at her bingo games and always looked forward to any outing, even though she routinely missed the senior bus and had to call to have them come back and pick her up. She lovingly doted on her grandkids and great grandkids as they were the lights of her life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley on Wednesday at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
