David C. Nyegaard, 57 of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Born in Belleville, the son of Kenneth and the late Joan (McHugh) Nyegaard he lived in Belleville prior to moving to Pennsylvania 2 years ago.
He retired as a terminal manager with Schneider Trucking Co. in Kearny.
The beloved husband of the late Lori Mary (Condisine) Nyegaard, he is survived by his children, David John Nyegaard and Cathleen Sweeney; 6 grandchildren, David Sabri, Stephanie Bernadette and Brielle Elizabeth Nyegaard, Emily Mary and Jack Christopher Sweeney and Joshua David James; his brother, Michael Nyegaard and his son-in-law, Joshua James. Along with his mother, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Patricia James and his sister, Sandra Molinaro.
The funeral service will commence on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 11 a.m.
The cremation services and entombment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield will be held privately.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
