Obituary for Delfina M. Bowles (Aloe)
Delfina M. Bowles, 92 of Belleville, passed away on Friday November 4, 2022 at her home. Born in Cosenza, Italy, she lived in Brooklyn before coming to Belleville 60 years ago. Delfina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A devout Catholic, Mrs. Bowles observed devotions to St. Anthony and Padre Pio, and regularly observed the daily broadcasted Italian Mass from the Vatican.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul J. Bowles in 2014. She is survived by her son, Paul A. Bowles and his wife, Lorraine and her grandchildren, Paul I. and Lydia Bowles. She was also a loving godmother and cousin to Theresa Van Schoyck and husband, Peter and cousin to Louis Aloise and wife, Grace.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at 10:30 am followed by entombment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
