Donald Palamara, 71 of Belleville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Born in Newark, the son of the late Dominick Palamara and Rose (Caruso) Palamara, Donald was a mail carrier for the town of Belleville. He is survived by his brother, Dominick Palamara. Donald was a graduate of Essex Catholic High School and Rutgers University in Newark. Donald enjoyed jogging and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no funeral service at this time. He is entombed at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Church in Nutley in the future. Memorial donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
