Doris A. Carbone, 89 of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019. Born in Teaneck, the daughter of Adolf and Wilhelmina (Gartner) Damiano, she lived in Nutley prior to moving to Milwaukee 14 years ago.
She retired as a secretary from UFCW Local 1262 in Clifton, previously she was employed as an administrative assistant for the Nutley Board of Education.
The beloved wife of the late Hugo Carbone, she is survived by her children, Michael Carbone and his wife Denise, Mary Paxton and Betty Schroeder and her husband Patrick; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Along with her parents and her husband she was also predeceased by her brother, Robert.
The funeral will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 8:30 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Holy Family Church at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 4-8 p.m.
