Loving and Devoted Mother, Grandmother & Caretaker

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris D Young announces her passing after an almost two year battle with breast cancer on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at the age of 75. She passed away at her home in Belleville NJ surrounded by her family. Doris was a wonderful mother to her children and grandmother to her grandson. Doris always without even thinking about it put the needs of others first. She was the best mother and grandmother that anyone could ever ask for.
Doris grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ with her two brothers and nine sisters and her mother and father. She was always very family orientated and spent much of her time with her protecting her sisters, going to bingo, and family dinners on Sunday.
Doris loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved spending time down the shore in the summer with her children and family. She loved going to Atlantic City and Mount Airy. She loved holiday dinners with her family and doing everything to make them happy. Doris was loved by everyone. She will be remembered in all our hearts forever.

Private Condolence

To the Young family my deepest and heartfelt condolences. My Aunt Doris was one of the most family oriented person I know. She would alway be there for anyone that was in need. Aunt Doris was the one person I could call no matter what I had to talk about and she would always give me her advice honestly and with love. She didn’t pull no punches. I will miss you dearly. I love you. React in peace
