Obituary for Dorothea Jane "Dottie" Burdulis (Becker)

Dorothea Jane Burdulis passed away suddenly on August 2, 2018 at her home. Dottie was born February 9, 1947. She was raised in Kearny where she attended St. Cecelia’s School, Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington and Kearny High School. She was employed as a Sales Representative for Kane Carpet in Kearny, and later by New Jersey Mortgage Housing and Finance Agency in Trenton. She relocated to South Jersey for a time and ultimately settled in Belleville in the early ‘90s. Known affectionately as “Dottie” or “Hucky”, she loved her Steve, her pets and her cars along with her many friends and family.
Mrs. Burdulis leaves her devoted husband of 39 years, Steven. She also leaves three loving brothers-in-law, Victor Urbanovich, Paul Burdulis and his wife, Elaine and Robert Burdulis and his wife, Sandy, four nieces, Victoria Urbanovich, Lauren Regeimbal, Allison Wilson and Michelle Collins and three nephews, Robert and Stephen Urbanovich and David Burdulis along with great nieces and nephews.
Dottie was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dorothy (Hinchcliffe) Becker and her devoted sister, Barbara Urbanovich.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Sunday November 11 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm; with a memorial service will also be held on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm at the funeral home.
