Obituary for Dorothy L. Greengrove (Pfefferle)
Devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Dedicated to preserving local history
Dorothy L. Greengrove, 87, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2019. Born in Passaic, she was the daughter of the late August and Paula L. (Arnold) Pfefferle. Mrs. Greengrove was a realtor with Moscara Realty in Nutley before retiring. She was also a recipient of the Mattia Award, member of the Historic Restoration Trust, the Nutley Town Club and was active with the Girl Scouts of America.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, James B. Greengrove, her children, Keith Greengrove and wife, Lisa, Kate Greengrove and husband, Art Pfefferle, Kris Greengrove and husband, Jim Martino, Karl Greengrove and husband, Ulises Robles and her loving grandchildren, Eva, Carson, Anton, Owen and Ella. She was also the dear sister of the late Fred Pfefferle.
The Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday September 30th at 11 am at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley.
Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday September 29th from 2-6 pm.
