Loving Wife and Mother
Dorothy A. Nichols, 92, of Galloway, NJ, passed away on August 4, 2023. Born in Allentown, PA. She grew up in Paterson, NJ and resided for many years in Nutley, Bloomfield, NJ and Henderson, NV. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Zigarski) Cupsty. She was a phone operator with AT&T, Belleville before retirement. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Francis J, Nichols, and her son John. She is survived by her daughters Rosalind Nichols and Phyllis Nichols.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 120 Prospect Street, Nutley on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00am.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
